Our MP-3 stainless and marine bronze hydrostatic pressure test set and component pump has been our best seller for years. Displacement of Pump / Maximum Pressure*

How much fluid do you need to pump? What Maximum pressure do you need?

Your choice of displacement for the pump is based on two things:

How much fluid do you need to move? A bigger displacement moves more fluid every time you move the handle.
How much pressure do you need? A smaller displacement allows you to reach higher maximum pressures.

Length of operating handle*

Choose from the length of the operating handle included with the pump.

The handle is detachable and comes with a PVC grip. The handle itself is 316 stainless steel.

The longer the handle you choose, the easier the pump will be to operate at maximum pressure. We typically suggest if you are regularly using the pump beyond 50% of the maximum pressure stated, that you pick the longer 625mm handle.

Seal material*

What seal material would you like inside the pump?

The standard offering is Nitrile / Buna N, but we can also fit "Viton" Fluorocarbon, or EPDM, Peroxide cured. Other seal options are available as a special, but please contact us.

The seal compound used must be compatible with your desired operating fluid, and temperature range. Contact us if in any doubt, and we can help you.

Test Fluid*

Pick a test fluid that we will test your hand pump with, prior to sending the unit to you. Standard options would be Water or Mineral Oil.

Release valve*

Do you want a release valve fitted to the pump, to be able to vent pressure back to the reservoir/pump body when opened?

Pressure Gauge*

Do you want a pressure gauge fitted to the side of the hand pump?

Our gauges are constructed from 316 stainless steel wetted parts, with a 304 stainless case. Plastic window. The gauge has a dual scale showing Bar and PSI pressure readings, and is 63mm in diameter.

Relief Valve*

Would you like a relief valve fitted to the hand pump, to limit the maximum pressure you can produce?

Our relief valve is not PED certified, but is a reliable way to limit how much pressure can be produced on the pump. The valve is fitted before the outlet non-return valve, and therefore only protects the handpump, and doesn't do anything to vent over pressure in your system.
