The Micropac MZ-20 portable hydrostatic test set for use with water and oil features a long life single acting hand pump mounted on a 9 litre ‘quick fill’ stainless steel reservoir. It comes complete with a 2 metre hose and a pressure gauge. Ideally suited to pressure testing domestic pipework, water lines, containers and vessels up to 60 bar. Simply connect up, fill the reservoir through the opening and operate the pump handle until the desired pressure is reached. A soft-seal outlet check valve ensures positive system sealing. Observe the pressure gauge needle for drop over any given period. Once the test is complete, pressure is released back to tank through the integral pump release/hold needle valve. The reservoir is easily emptied by inverting unit.

Weighing just 7kg (empty), the unit is readily carried between locations using the pump operating handle, which doubles as a carrying handle.

The British-designed and manufactured MZ-20 is a rugged and reliable tool intended for both indoor and outdoor use. Manufactured from stainless steel and anodised aluminium, it also features hard chromed hydraulics with piston dirt excluder for extended service life. Seals and valves seats are user serviceable.

The unit comes with a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty and full factory support for the product and applications.
